The Legacy GT and either style of the RS wheels do look a lot better, and are more uncommon, than the WRX wheels. The RS are also a half-inch wider, so tires look better and have a bit more bite.
Nice poop-shot on #5

And they'll clear the OEM 4-pot brake calipers if you can ever afford them. :)

Are you serious? Damn, I might have to get some RS wheels instead of the WRX wheels.
What are the specs? 16 x 7? That should hold a 225 nicely.
My connection in "the industry" is getting me a wicked deal on the 4-pots, so I'll be ordering them in the summer.

Yes, I'm pretty sure the Impreza 2.5 RS wheels, which are 16x7, clear the 4-pots. I agree they should hold 225-width tires pretty well.
The Legacy 2.5GT wheels are actually 16x6.5, though, like the WRX wheels, and I'm not sure whether or not they clear 4-pots.

hehe, that's the plan
though I'm not sure if it's going to be worth it, plus once I do I can't put my stockers back on incase something happens. I'd like to go with 4pots in the front and 2pots in the rear just to keep with the scheme of things, but people say the h6 calipers are really good.
Thanks for all the compliments guys

I ran 225s (ecsta 712s) on the RS 16x7 wheels, and they worked fine, but i had tons of camber in the front and rear. Without that, there's no way they would have fit.

Really? Even with the "sport" suspension?
I was thinking about running 225/45/16's, but I don't want to rub or have to have drift-car camber.
I guess I'll have to use 215's or something

I was running coilovers at the time.
I'd recommend against anything higher than 215 with a 7", and 205 with a 6.5".

Why do you care how they look? Id take those Teddy bear wheels if they where 16x7 and 13 pounds.
The WRX wheels are lighter, thats more important than an extra half inch. Unless you got a killer deal on the GT/RS Slipstreams wouldnt cost much more and be significantly ligher

Cause I like my car to be a reflection of myself. So far so good. It just needs to be a little more eccentric.
according to
this they're the same weight as wrx
I only paid 275 plus shipping for these. My tires were dead, and soemthing was out of balance which gave me some vibration. good deal considering I would've payed about 150-200ish for new tires anyway. I'm not too concerned anymore about making the car any faster or getting better mpg. For now I just want her to keep going until I can save some moolah.

I have Ronal wheels
Came with the car. Not the teddy bear ones.
15 x 7 w/ 195's on them
So I'm looking for new rims, lol.
I wonder how much Ronal's are worth?

Seroiusly. . . . if you had the bears, I would have bought them from you and put them on Laurel's car when she's not looking.

I'd really like to get 215/45 r16's for the next set of tires....but I'm very limited in the tires I can get for that size.....
