i wanna put on a muffler

Post by bignose »

i wanna put on a straigh thru muffler. i'm wondering if anyone can recommend any good magnaflow or flowmaster models ? I'm looking for something of fairly good quality.

i have stock exhaust.. i'm still debating if a 4 inch outlet is too cheesy or not..

[btw it's a turbo model.[

yes it is cheesy. Go twin 2.5 for a stock look. But why do you want to change it? The stock mufflers sound really good, unless you want to go all out with a turbo back then changing the muffler would make sense.

Well if your ganna match up a muffler to the stock exhaust. Then in the future when you do get a turbo back, your gonna have to replace it again to tie up with the new exhaust. My opinion wait untill your ready for a turbo back then get a new muffler.

i have a Flowmaster 40 series on my NA, and it sounds really good. (or so people tell me). Download the second video in this thread to hear it (its a little bit into the clip):

Your turbo would probably muffle the sound a bit... but it should still sound good.
