if you could own one car
Ok here's a question for everyone. If you could only one car the rest of you life and nothing would ever wear out on it. What would it be? It can be any year and make, and you can mod it all you want.
I would take a forester and drop a modded 2.2T in it. Forester = excellent crashorthiness, lots of cargo room, and best of all super sleeper

93 legacy turbo sedan
00 jeep wrangler

The question should be one car as it came from the factory, not some frankenstien because the list gets too long.
Id personally take a F650 supercruiser with pickup truck style bed.
Edit: I may want to change my choice to a Mil-Spec hummer.

Hmmmm. . . now that I think about it. . . I would have to seriously consider a Hummer H1 wagon. If mileage were not really an issue (those diesels aren't THAT bad anyway) I'd sport one in a heartbeat. There are countless mods available for them now, and they can go literally anywhere offroad.
Nice thing is, this is the real world, and we're allowed to have more than one vehicle (one for utility and one for speed) . . . . but that also means we're constrained by our own finances, too.

ROFL!!!! OMG, I started craking up when I read that Ciper!!!ciper wrote:So far my vehicle choice would run through and outpower all the listed models. That means Im better
The H1 is a good choice, good ground clearance and ultimate AWD system!
Totally guys. . . I've seen the H1 in action, first-hand, and they truly ARE a beast. And yes. . .there are MANY roads I would find way too narrow to drive an H1 on. . . and even more parking lots I would avoid as well.
Didnt know they had one! Someone I know has a generator that was like that. Really popular before the Y2k thing. You could add stuff to the tank like rubbing alcohol, cooking oil, and even used motor oil! Anything that would go through the filter.

To me this is almost an impossible choice. One woman, OK, but one car?!
If I have to - Lotus Elise. No rust worries alloy chassis with fiberglass body, light weight, great mileage, fast, great handling, easy on brakes and tires, maneuverable, reliable Toyota running gear, no driver aid crap, and chicks think its cute.
If I can pick a modified car, I'll pick my Legacy circa 3 yrs from now.

Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
LANCIA DELTA S4 ABARTH
this engine had a capacity of 1759cc, used an alloy cylinder head and cylinder block, had four valves per cylinder, twin overhead camshafts, fuel injection (with two injectors per cylinder) and most interestingly both a turbocharger and a supercharger with twin air-to-air intercoolers. a power of 480bhp was produced at 8400rpm. thats a italian rally car, for me one crazy street killer any one whant to race.

either that or a highly modded XR6 Turbo. (Aussie car. Ford, but hey... check this link http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/ne ... s/fpv1.JPG )
think 240kW atf, bog standard. 300kW+ atw (AT THE WHEELS goddamn it!) modded versions have already started appearing here and there. 4-litre straight 6 with a garret T28 turbo and fmic.
