i think this is what the guy ment a little while back that this is one of thoes sites that dosent help people in the right direction rather just one that ignores the problems of beginners and tells them to do a search when that wont even yeild anything useful unless you want to read all the threads some of which have been hijacked. and when i question is asked about something that recives responses they are just bashes and doubt with other optimistic solutions that are made out to be the cheap way thats actualy more expensive.many times have i seen that someone asks for help and is pointed to some bad direcions sill dosnet get it and no one helps insead he/she gets flamed for not knowing something he came to find out about. im not saying im leaving just that you guys can be a little more helpful and open to the fact the not everyone knows everything.

Its annoying to be asked the same question multiple times. The search function could work a little better, I agree, as I've had trouble locating things I know were discussed previously.

Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
yeah i'm a little curious as to what spawned that comment.

You want us to search OURSELVES, find the part numbers then post it back to this thread? Thats pretty rude. Dont be lazy.
How do you think us "experts" often find the information,,,, A SEARCH.
It took me 15 seconds to find the part number listing
734006 4WD AGX Right-Front
734007 4WD AGX Left-Front
733010 4WD AGX Right-Rear
733011 4WD AGX Left-Rear

I will say this about hte search function, though: half the time I search for something specific I end up with about 2 million threads containg the the words I ran the search on, but not in any user friendly manner... it can be mildy annoying at times.
Sometimes it's easier to ask for the info, or to have some helpful board member toss up a link as opposed to stumbling around for a vague refrence
.
In general, it's been my experience that most of the folks here are very helpful. I don't alway's get the answer's I want (or any answer's at all sometimes), but the only stupid question is the one never asked.
In any event, I like it here
, in fact, it's been my homepage for some time.
Happy motoring muchacho's!

when you search, try to add a few more terms then just one....also when you search, chose the search for All option, rather then any terms.

you gotta understand azn2nr that this isn't a huge site that gets lots of traffic like you'd think. So when you ask something you gotta wait more than a day to get a response, or if you are really in a hurry irc is always open and if anyone is there I'm sure we'd be more than glad to at least push you in the right direction. I would've answered this thread when I saw you post it if I had known the answer. But since I didn't i thought it would be best to let somene that knows the actual information do it, rather than start some confusion. Anyway, give everyone some time to view your thread and you'll get your answer or a quicker way is to search yourself, and yes searching blows but most of the time it's the quickest way to get any kind of info.

Gotcha. Next time, attempt to make your request for information a bit more clear. This will assist anyone that may want to help you. For instance, all i know is you have a 92 turbo automatic that is maroon. Is it a wagon or sedan?azn2nr wrote:sorry i should have made it clear that i couldnt find the part numbers and that a discription is what i needed.
See the picture on the top right here: http://www.rallispec.com/product-susp1.htm
While these are "for the impreza," the basic design is the same. the shorter struts are for the front, taller for the rear. A bit clearer picture is further down the page. Do you notice the same pattern on the struts pictured here: http://www.gruppe-s.com/Subaru/subsus.htm?
Being specific in your initial question and rephrasing your search would help you more. In addition, feel free to search Google, infoseek, lycos, yahoo, or any one of your favorite internet search engines as well.
