Today was a good day

Post by FG!! »

Oh let's see.... I got up kinda early so I was able to drop my favorite coffee shop to get some coffee. Wearin' new pants, shirt, shoes. My hair laid in the direction I pushed it. Extra hot girl at the office smiled and said hi extra sexily. I didn't blow anything up at work (literally). But most importantly....

I got the Ru out the shop!!! Image

My car broke down on the twelfth of January, and I've been looking around for a tranny for two months.

During those two months I've been driving around in a turdball tan 84 Volvo 240dl wagon. I debated selling the legacy and buying a brand new car. Subsequently I test many a new car. Luckily I didn't do it. The legacy stacks up to all the hotted up economy cars out there in driving feel.

Anywho, I'm not going anywhere for a while. One more turbo leg saved from the wrecker and the impreza crowd.

Junkyard turbo legacy with 120k. Paid $850. Too much but worth it. The car it came out of was running fairly well except for an so-called unfixable fuel pump problem that would cause the car to die while driving.
