magnux: with the recent surge in interest towards intercoolers, i think that the appeal of setup that fits well and doesn't require very much custom fabrication by the purchaser should be successful. The intercooler i have right now doesn't fit as well as the Saab units, so you can pretty much pencil me in for a sale.

Perhaps you could get some more information, photos and prices, then start a poll to gauge the interest.

Assuming that I can use the stock bov plumbed into those tubes which from what I can see is possible..

I'd Deffinately interested in paying around 120$ +/- plus shipping to get that setup.

Tell your dude I'm in.

That's 2 ;)

I don't knwo what happened to the last post, but I'm sure there are a bunch of us that aren't in the mood to go ghetto building, although I could, it would take me twice the time to do the setup...

Let us know.
I'm in no hurry either.

Hi guys,

I've just moved over to the fmic. The lag is greater even with no bov, but the power difference is far greater as well. Very nice set up for the strip, but I'm gonna stick with the stock jdm early wrx intercooler for daily use. Running around 330bhp with the stock wrx ic, so its not that slow without the fmic :D

Anyone on here using No2?

I'm running a TD05, with custom re-mapped ecu for the job.
Its the FMIC its massive, 5x the TMIC in size. The front bumper has been cut down and down and down to make it fit!
I'm thinking of running an anti-lag kit or No2, anyone use either of those on here?

FYI, it's N2O. Two parts nitrogen, one part oxygen. Not No2. ;)

So actually it would be N4O2 as oxygen is a double bond or whatever and comes as paired atoms.

I think the nitrogen atom has an extra bond like hydrogen, so a single molecule ends up as three atoms. (a little off topic hehe)

ahhh, thats why, my cooler is 500mm x 270mm x 75mm, I am running a TD05 also, its perfect for 19psi, it doesn't get hot at all, I am running a LINK ECU, still untuned until the 1st of april, then boost should be coming in a bit earlier, i have full boost by 3500rpm at the moment, when do you get full boost? p.s. I also have custom headers, which help boost come on earlier too.

I thought oxygen only double bonded to itself.

I used to run a zex dry kit on my n/a motor. Other than glitches w/ activation (might have been my install...) it worked nicely. Think it was a 55 shot that i used.

LEGACYTURBS - What are the details on your car? Sounds like a hoss!

At any rate, vrg3, Legacy92ej22t and I were talking about using Nitrous as an anti-lag type of thing. Basically, squirt until fully spooled, then cut flow.

O.K. but why cut it off :)

The cars oil leak became too much, so i've stripped all the bits off it. Got another legacy today, its running but pulling several fault codes. It had been stood for a while, so it may just be mixed up. Gonna try ecu reset in the morning.
