Where in the heck...?

Post by elkaboom »

I've been trying to nail down a set of Magnecore ignition wires (specifically the 8.5mm's), but I'll be damned if I can find a decent place to order them from!
I've set a couple of emails to Magnecore for info on factory direct sales or cataloges, but my query's have gone unanswered.
A lot of the links I see have the wires for sale, but not for my car.
Where is the best place to order them from? My KEM wires are beggining to demonstrate tell-tale signs of wear and deterioration, so I want to upgrade my plugwires, stat. Also, where can I get a Diamond coilpack from?
I don't why in the Hell I'm having trouble locating this stuff, but I figured I'd ask those of you who already bought the items in question.
Thanks for shedding dome light on my vexxing frustration.

Diamondpacks can be found in JYs, but mine came with it, so I'm not sure.

I called Magnecor I believe and they gave me the name of a local distributor or else they did it directly... Can't quite remember, but I had no trouble and they came early. The number I called was 248-471-9506.

Thanks Steve! :P Guess I'll go back to the local JY and see if I can't scrounge one up. I'm gonna call the number you offered in 3... 2... 1...

Sorry, I gave you the wrong number...

It should be 248-471-9505

magnecor.com is their website plus some performance vendors carry them.

I know I'm bringing a thread "back from the dead", but just thought I'd keep the archives updated. :-)

I tried to order my plug wires from cyber auto today, and when I clicked "submit" on the online order page, a bunch of html jargon just came up. I called up customer support and was told that they're phasing out the old site and now they're "Alamo Motorsports"

http://www.alamomotorsports.com/

The guy was nice enough to honor the old cyber auto price listed on their site (which means I got them for what the NGK's are going for on eBay).
