ARe AGX impreza and Legacy Struts the same?

Like the title says? Is there any handling difference between the AGX struts for bc/bf legacy's and GC/GF impreza's, since they both bolt up? Are all AGX's STi red?

I think they're actually the same part number.

There arent any AGX for BC/BF legacy.

The Tire Rack lists them for at least some BC/BFs.

I looked them up for a 93 Legacy Turbo sedan, and got these part numbers:

Front left: 734007
Front right: 734006
Rear left: 733011
Rear right: 733010

The same numbers came up for a 97 Impreza L 4WD sedan.

They arent, when I contacted KYB (along time ago) they said the only agx struts are for the impreza.

I think tire rack along with other sites just list them because they happen to fit, most likely NASIOC members told the Tirerack salesmen that used to frequent the forums to change it.

are the spring perches on impreza front struts a different height from legacies? I've heard that it causes the front to ride high on a legacy, at least with agx's I've heard that....then other say its no problem...

With the AGX the front sits higher than it used to if the same springs are used, the car still looks fine.

Is that cause the impreza is more nose heavy in weight distribution hence the front struts are stiffer for an impreza then it would be for a Legacy?
