Nah, it's got the normal EJ22.
It's odd, though -- that picture doesn't look like a GT. The GTs had turbo-style front ends (bumpers with fog light holes, single-slat grills with body-colored sides).

I couldn't tell whether it had the raised roof or not. And I thought the GTs were all built in Japan -- this car's got an SIA VIN.
And I dunno about that "3-speed automatic." :)
The bumper and grill could just be from an accident earlier in its life though. My car has a non-turbo grill and when I got it it had one yellow and one clear headlight lens.

If you could find one of those for cheap you could do a TT conversion. I know the TT's aren't very highly thought of by true performance minded Subby owners. But the fact that it would be a super unique car would likely make it something you could turn a profit on once the conversion was done...LaureltheQueen wrote:hmmmm.... perhaps they're dirty liars... Its got the roof, wheels, and skirts from the GT.
I'd look at it for ya, but its about 2.5 to 3 hrs from me. Doesn't look too far from LimeRock Park.

Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
that is so what I want to do, I don't care if the car would be slower than mine currently Just teh uniqueness would make me almost spooge.Matt Monson wrote:If you could find one of those for cheap you could do a TT conversion.
