Looking for rear spoiler (wing) for 92 L Wagon

Post by luckylouie »

Check this out:

I am looking for a rear spoiler (or wing) like that.

Miki (former owner of that yellow Legacy) said that one was manufactured in Belgium (!).

Does anyone know of any part (or similar) that would fit?

Since we are in the subject of spoilers, is there any for the front end?

Thanks in advance!

I found another picture...

This one doesn't look as subtle as the previous, though.
Anyways, I've been researching the BBS and learned a lot.
And before some "ricey" comments appear on this thread, I just want to clarify that the main purpose of this rear wing is to hide a dent on my 92 L Wagon rear door.

I assume that adding the part would be less expensive than the body repair.

There's a discussion about wagon spoilers going on on the RS Liberty forums:

I'm looking for one myself, but something more subtle that's just a short horizontal extension off the back like the MINI has.

Part of the problem is that the GT's and RS's in other countries had the raised roof. Most of the wings incorporate that raised section :( Otherwise, I'd be interested as well.

I have a similar dent in my wagon, except mine is shared between the hatch and the roof. It would require a huge wing to cover up.
Is your dent a result of loading something on the rack?

If i were to get a spoiler it would be a very subtle duckbill... Your best bet to hide that dent would be to find a hatch at a local u-pull and stick that on. I've got one in very good condition that's the wrong color, but if you're interested, i can take pictures. Taking the hatch off takes only a few minutes, but requires 2 people.

I dont think there are any spoilers made for the bfs without raised roofs, because the rest of the world w/ them had more of a market for mods, thus the companies that designed them made them only for the cooler looking bfs... just a theory
