rear endlinks on 92 awd

Post by quicklook »

my rear endlinks on my 92 legacy ls awd do not look like the "c" looking ones in the catalogs. mine have a straight shock looking mount on bottom and a round mount on top, maybe about 5-6" long and perfectly straight.

anyone else have these?

also the pm messaging no longer works right , and i have tried to get a hold of some members, but no luck.

no sure about the pm situation, i have a 92 turbo and i have the drop links as well, instead of the c shaped endlinks... i believe subaru changed all models to the "C" style for 93 and up

Are there any advantages to the C style?

If you wanna put the "C" style on ,you have to change the arm that could fit the "C"style end link.
Buy a new one from Dealer it just cost around $60 Cad for a pair.

Yeah I found that out when I bought what was supposed to be a 93 turbo rear swaybar. It has the endlinks, while my 91 has droplinks. I just decided I'm gonna get a 91 turbo rear swaybar, as soon as Opie gets off his butt and pulls it for me ;)

If you want to keep the same style control arms and uprade the swaybar, order the whiteline bar for 89-91 legacies from PDM-racing.com, it comes with upgraded endlinks like what you have.

so is there an advantage between the "c" style versus the older drop links?

my 90 has drop links and i want to put the whiteline lateral links on my car but they are for the "c" style endlinks.

if i get the lateral links do i need to change the sway bar too. or will the old sway bar accept the "c" endlinks
