Will GC8 SPrings Lower my Legacy unevenly?
I'd like to lower the legacy a tad maybe 1.5" in the front and about 1" in the rear, since it sits higher in the front. I heard somwhere that GC8 springs fit well but will lower the car unevenly? Ideally I'd like to get a set of Eibach/tein/prodrive GC8 springs since their quite available. But want to make sure the gap in the front and rear wheel wells is the same. Any advice/experience?
Thanks,
Mark

H&R springs.
There is an application for our cars, and I happen to have a used set
They are linear and suited for the additional weight our cars have.
I had a set of GC Eibach pro's - they are progressive, and did not suit the car well IMO - too much bouncy on the really bad Toronto roads.

I literally just posted about this. GC8 Whiteline. The rear is quite sagged. I'm sourcing wagon springs on Saturday.

low...thats not low....
That pictuire u put up on my thread as well. thats not low. mines lower than that right now with Cobra super low springs and standy suspension, the rims are inside guards with peeps in the back
it looks nice, but scrapes with bumps, hence im getting new suspension this weekend, lower, but harder....

The question isn't "is it too low", it's "is the rear too low compared to the front". Look at the pic. The rear tires are inside the fenders while the fronts have 1.5" of gap. Putting GC8 springs onto a Legacy Wagon will result in an uneven drop and sketchy handling.

Sketchy?
That wagon looks weird, but the uneven/even drop is not being addressed properly. A car raked further forward will tend more toward oversteer, and back to understeer. You're effectively moving the cg slightly. Suspension geometry of a particular car will determine what raking does to the roll center, but I can tell you that our rule of thumb for Mitsu Evos is to "rake it until it turns".

I have WRX KYB GR2 struts and '00 2.5 RS springs all the way around. It's pretty low. I'd say there is maybe 1.5"-2" of fender gap now.
