how does this autocross suspension setup sound?

Struts, spring, anti-rollbars, braces and the like.

how does this autocross suspension setup sound?

Post by LegacySport4L »

For my 92 Legacy Sport Sedan

Eibach rear camber bolts
Rear STi Group N top mounts for 92-94 legacy
Koni Sport Inserts Front and Rear for WRX
Ground Control Coilovers 9" front 8" rear 325# front / 275-300# rear for GC impreza
Ground Control camber/castor plates for GC impreza

Bracing will be taken care of, and I'll handle swaybars/endlinks after I see what the above does.

thoughts?

you should add N mounts to the engine and tranny too. i think that sounds like a lot of fun. although i thin you will want the bigger swaybars and maybe some adjustable lateral links for the rear to adjust the toe a little more. but now we are nearing the silly money point.

i've got group N engine and tranny mounts already. Chances are I'll end up getting some swaybars and endlinks for it, but I want to get the balance of the car set with the front/rear spring rates and then use swaybars to keep the car from rolling rather than using them to induce oversteer.

Be careful when you say coilovers... they are really just coilover sleeves, just make sure to choose an appropriate strut to go along with the springs, agx's with adjustable dampening would be ideal, you'll need the stiffer valving.

nino is selling the wrx ones for 975 shipped as a package...and I haven't asked yet but I'm guessing the gc8 ground controls will be the same price.

and agx's don't come close to the performance of koni's if you ask me...and yes I've driven cars with both.
