For my steering wheel. It locks in the low position, and doesn't ratchet anywhere else.
I got in the car to move my ghetto boost gauge hose, and dropped the wheel. When I went to raise the wheel back up, it wouldn't click in.
Anyone have any experience with this problem? I won't get to rip into it until I get the car back from the shop (also registered and tagged!) so I'm just looking for ideas of what to check.

Did you play with the side adjuster? I forget how it works exactly, but the main release underneath will let the wheel float from bottom to top. It's supposed to be some kind of mechanical memory feature and the side adjuster is to set it to a new position. Play with the two adjusters if you have to - mine did something like that when I got it, but now I have no problems.
