Doesn't Tein make some S-Tech springs to fit?

Boostjunkie's 91 had Tein front's and hacked stock rears but had Teins to go in, I THINK.

Why is everyone suggesting the GC8 rear top mounts? Shouldn't the BD/BG rear tops work better and allow you to use either BD or GD springs.

Also the GC8 springs lower the rear more beings that it has a lighter platform.

The reason the gc suspension is suggested is because the gc and bc chassis are almost identical, the gc has a shorter wheel base and a different shaped rear sway bar. So almost all the stuff is bolt on. Also the sti grp n bushings and stuff are either gc or gd, not bd so you wont find any topmounts from sti for that chassis.

However I am now interested, what from the bd/bg is a direct drop into the bc/bf?

Basically all parts are interchangable between the lines.

BD/BG share the same rear tops with the GD WRX. I used the GD STi mounts on my BD GT, which I sold and now miss dearly. Either way I have the OE BD tops and would like to use these with some GD lowering springs on my BC Turbo.

I would just like to clarify some of these issues before I start shelling out money. Trial and error works, but why waste time. Been there done that.

very awesome to hear, Have you already tried to put in the bd/bg top mounts? I dunno if they'd fit. Apparently the wrx strut bars wont work with bc/bf/gc/gf suspension.

There lies the question. I know the GD rear top mounts fit in the BD/BG. But do they fit into the BC/BF? I vaguely remembering that the GD or BD rear tops have a larger rear bolt pattern than the BC chassis. I just want to verify this. If so and I have to resort to the GC rear tops which springs will work with these.

I just want to lower my '91 Turbo...inexpensively that is. I miss the power of my '98 GT-T and will move up to the likes of: STi, '05 GT, EVO, or a '01 S4.
