struts Sedan awd = Wagon awd?

Post by Lorryb »

Are the front and rear struts on the awd wagon (non-air suspension) interchangeable with the struts on the awd sedan? More importantly are the springs (esp. rear) interchangeable? Reason I ask is I have a sedan donor car for my wagon. I have ordered new gr-2's and was thinking of pulling the struts out of my donor car, replaceing the struts with my new KYB's and then swapping the struts with those in my wagon. Mostly so I don't have much down time for my wagon. (I don't have a spring compressor so I will take them to a neighborhood shop to have the struts put together).

yes. but the sedan rear springs are a lower rate than your wagons.
