valve cover + catch cans
the lines that go before the turbo to the valve covers can i leave them open air with filters on the ends.
should i put a catch can and make them go back in the system.
should i put a catch can on the line coming from the middle of the motor right in between the throttle and turbo its the one on the pcv and before the turbo

I have also heard that the piston rings like having a more even pressure. Having a closed pcv system keeps even pressure between the front and the back of the piston, promoting a better piston seal. Once you open up that system, the vaccum on one side, and the postively charged opposing side of the piston cause leaks in the piston ring seal.

Jason, would an inline catch-can keep the pressure constant, or would the volume of air be enough to drop the pressure?

I would assume that a carch-can plumbed back into the intake would could keep the pressure the same as stock, minus the pressure drop over from the hoses that you use. I can't think of it causing any issues in that respect.
Can anyone shed some more light onto whether or not a closed PCV system makes any difference?

Jason already mentioned the closed system requirement. It's to keep even pressure in the system.

I would assume that the closed system would keep the pressures close enough to maintain proper sealing with no problems. As long as both sides of the piston are either at vaccum or pressurized, I don't think it matters that there's a differential.

wow this board look CRAZY i like it, anyways i will give it a shot. should i put the catch can on the valve covers or the vacum line for the pcv, which one spits the most oil in the turbo.

NICO, you'll see a tube running into the rubber piece (turbo inlet piece). The twin-tube plastic piece is where you somehow have to hook up the oil catch can to. I was gonna do this but couldn't figure out how to hook it up to the system.

do i put the catch can in the middle of the pcv or going in to the turbo, or do i direct it right in the catch can first, then hook back up the pcv and the line that gos in to the turbo
