meine hoodscoup projekt

Post by Kelly »

Since I seem to have a problem posting pics lately.

I'm thinking of making a mold, and producing these in a somewhat small quantity.

I would probably make two versions; Race quality, and good quality.

Race being cheeper.

Looks good - I'd get one if I wasn't going AWIC.

It would depend on price and such. I'd have to see one in person before I bought.

I would be interested depending apon price but as Quick pointed out in the other thread they aren't going to fit 92-94's. If you offer one for those years I would be interested though. :)

Mark - Depending on how my interior project goes, I might try to tackle the facelifted scoop issue.

Put me down for a '92-'94 scoop. I assume you'll want our scoops in return/core, right? ;)

Magnux, he hopes to get one victim scoop and create a mold from that to reproduce the others. So your original scoop should be safe.

Well, if he needs a scoop, depending on how long it would take to complete, I could donate mine.

Sounds interesting for anyone wanting an effective scoop for top-mount A/A intercooling.

Quick, How bout you give me that 92 scoop, and I'll just take it out of the price for yours. Say 30 bucks? And youll get one of the first finished ones?

This thread was to see if there would be enough intrest in these, for me to go ahead, and spend time on making the molds. Looks like there is, and thanks for all the nice compliments :)

I'll start this weekend, and sell them off as there made. (Prolly in a couple weeks, as I dont have too much spare time these days)
I will also come up with a price once the first ones are done. It will depend on how long they take me to make, and how good they come out.
