PM's are working fine for me. As is everything else on the board. I haven't tried any other other schemes or anything though.

If you're using Internet Explorer go to Tools - Internet Options and click on "Delete Files". There will be a check box for "delete all offline content". Check that box and then hit OK. That should clear the cache.

I just thought of something. I installed a new firewall last night. Could it be causing my woes?

YYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY, I fixed it!!!!!!!!
It was something in my firewall that was restricting my IE. Thanks for trying to help me guys.

Josh, you mean that when you click the "Quote the last message" checkbox the entire last message instantly appears quoted in the quick reply entry text box?

Ya, I know, that's why I didn't even suspect it to be causing the problem at first. I had to go into the control parameters for the firewall. It took me a while but I found a section called "program control" that was for different Microsoft programs. There was a tab in there where it said "Privacy" that you could turn off and on for each program. For some reason IE was the only program that had it on. I switched it to off and the problem went away. I still don't understand why it would keep me from linking to the other board options. I could enter different threads and post but everything else didn't work.

I wonder if this same type of problem could be what's been keeping some of the other members from being able to send PM's.

Actually, I was having the same problems today in subSilver. It didn't have anything to do with the theme upgrade that Dave did. It was just a cawinkadink that I installed a new firewall last night.

No I was just clicking on the quote button and posting a reply normally.

If i use the quick reply quote thing it doesn't automatically paste it in there......should it?
