555 posts

Post by DLC »

I remember back when i-club/nasioc moved you to Scooby Specialist at 555 posts. I'm not sure if they still do that, since they only show post counts in a few forums...

As more than one person brought up, i'm at 555 presently.

Should i create a 555+ title?

Well. . . I think the only forum that posts DON'T count on Nasioc is in "teh OT"

Otherwise, I think they all count. And I DO believe they bump you at 555 posts. :)

500 is "dedicated"

I think you're right, OT doesn't count, but they only SHOW your post count in forums where it matters, like Private Classifieds.

I don't think there's a need for the 555 title change. 555 was the tobacco company that sponsored the Subaru Impreza, not the Legacy. It's more fitting in a forum dedicated to Impreza's, not Legacy's (even though the Legacy turbo was Subaru's introduction to World Rallying). My vote is to keep it as it is.

Yeah, look at the first picture:

Dave, I don't think it makes that much sense, since 555 is special but 556 isn't. And 559 (where you are now) isn't either...

If ya wanna check your post count on Nabisco, PM yourself :)

And regional posts don't count over there either, except for the SE forum, the one I'm in :D

I also think the titles are fine as they are.

D'oh! I should've realized 555 sponsored one of the Legacy's, it's the wallpaper on my desktop machine  I'm not sure when the sponsorship started though, because Rothman was the original sponsor of the WRC Legacy. McRae and Burns both won British Championships in Legacys and it might've been these cars that were originally sponsored by 555. Actually, I think it was the first part of the 1993 season before the Impreza took over. The only reason I say that is because the 91 and 92 WRC tapes I have show the Legacy in Rothman's garb.
