Damn if there's anything that could make me give up, I mean retire, my car its an Atlantic Blue GT wagon. It's basically my car but new and better in every way. Doesn't even weigh much more.

Agree with Steve. Nothing will make me give up Patti for good, but if I could have just Patti and a black 2.5GT Sedan 5MT, that would be fine with me. Yep, even the XT would hafta go

Ya, I stopped by my local dealer yesterday too and they won't have any until mid June. Their getting a blue 2.5GT Limited 5eat sedan, a black 5mt 2.5GT Limited sedan with a group 1 package (not sure what that is) and another blue 5mt 2.5GT sedan. I can't wait to see 'em.

This past Wednesday got email from Suby dealer saying '05 Legacys, including GTs were in, and ready for test drives. On Thursday, got postcard saying same thing. I phone dealer and salesman with Australian accent confirmed that GTs were in, in both A/T and 5 spd, and that I could test drive both. Well, had a disappointing afternoon at work--ruined $600 of materials and it was MY FAULT!!! GGggrrrrr!!! Couldv'e bought a new set of wheels and tires! So, then, drove 45 minutes to Suby dealer (wasn't thinking and went the loooooong way around--twice the distance). Salesman said GTs haven't come in yet and won't be in for another week or two! Double ggrrrrr!

Maybe it was my mood but the new Legacy looks, well, blah. Not distinctive enough. Now the WRX front end looks distinctive--you see it coming in your rearview mirror and you KNOW it's a WRX. Now, I may change my mind once I see the GTs. From the pics above, I have to say the Atlantic Blue is a beauty!

Didn't mean to write a novel--thanks for letting me vent.

I like that the new Legacy isn't TOO outstanding - more stealth action. My dealer's got an Outback and a darker red GT sedan auto. Interior looks good and I loved the red. Sticker was $29k and change with the auto.
