Get me all three rows of numbers that appear on the plaque on the compressor housing and I will tell you exactly what turbo it is...
FYI,
TD04's were on many, but not all versions of the '97 WRX. Some of them had IHI turbos, but of the top of my head am not familiar with the one mentioned...

I've heard of this turbo before but don't know what cars it came on or anything. Here's a link with what turbos came on some of the Suby's through out the years.

I did a search on Google for the RHB6 and it seems to be a diesel truck turbo mainly used on small Japanese trucks. An 88-92 Isuzu MPR truck used it and companies like Kobelco and Kawasaki (does Kawasaki make trucks in Japan or just bikes?).
I found one site that was showing an RHB6 that was plumbed in on a Suzuki RB Racing GSXR1100 Turbo motorbike. They were puting down 280 whp!
Beside that, in searching I know that there are RHB5, RHB6, RHB7, RHB8. I know that on the RHB5 that that designation is the exhaust turbine housing size so I would guess that the RHB6 is the next size up and the RHB7 is the next up from that ect...
I hope this helps but do a search on google or something. I got six pages of links on google but didn't take the time to look at them all. =)
