I believe that the WRX pump has its fittings in a slightly different configuration, but you should still be able to make it fit.

The different configuration is why there are different Walbro pump part numbers for WRXes (GSS342) and earlier Subarus (GSS341). But people have used both Walbro pumps on both types of Subarus.

The pump is quite a bit smaller that ours. Both in length and girth ;) I haven't actually tried putting the one i have in though.

Are you talking about the Walbro pump or the stock WRX pump, MK? Cuz I know the Walbro pump is much smaller than stock. It looks tiny!

The wrx pump, when i got it i was very surprised at how small it is. I have found though that an older DSM pump is the exact same dimensions w/ slightly different wire connections than ours. Looks like the filer will bolt right to it.

other thing you guys need to know is that the WRX has a fuel controller which alters pump speed/flow. The older cars don't have anything like that. They just run full out all the time.

I thought the Legacy Turbo pump was stronger than the WRX one? :?:
I remember a post someone did comparing all the flowrates corresponding to voltages.

On another note, I do know that the MKIV Supra TT pump is a direct replacement for the Legacy Turbo pump.
