Well the chrome strip on my front bumper started to come loose and peel off so I figured it was the queue to begin the dechroming process I had been intending to start for a while. I peeled off the front bumper chrome strip and all the rubber glue gunk adhesive underneath either peeled off or came off with some armor all and a rag or a screwdriver.
When it came time to remove the rear bumper strip though, it was an entirely different story. The chrome strip itself came off without any problems, but the rubber adhesive is being an absolute [explitive] to remove. I've tried scraping with a screwdriver, goof off, armor all and it REFUSES to come off the plastic molding. Does anyone have any special tricks that would help me get it off?
It just baffles me how the front came off so easily and the rear is being so tempermental.
