I won't take the poll simply because I've seen far too many discussion boards quickly go to Hell in a handbasket when people started "sharing" their political views.
The old adage: "never discuss religion or politics if you want keep pleasant company" is entirely too true...

I will add a fourth option that may be more suited to those of you that don't like the two party system.

I'll go ahead, I wont discuss it after this, but I will give my opinions. My views are mainly libertarian, so you'd expect me to vote republican, but due to a few issues very dear to my heart, and important to me(gay rights, abortion, peace), so i vote democrat

I think Homer J. Simpson adequetly represents the duality inherent in all people, therefore, he's got my vote.

I've often described myself as one of the following:

"Liberal Republican"

"Conservative Democrat"

That pretty much sums me up, for the two-party explanation of my views. ;)

For voter registration, I put Democrat, but that's because it was the first on the list.

I don't think any of the parties completely agree with what I think should be going on.

I want to start my own political party made up of myself and a few advisors (whom will be appointed by necessity of their respective departments). I would have the rockinest party the world has ever seen.

This is true. . . although his popularity sometimes wanes. . . .

I consider myself practical libertarian (I understand the need for some infrastructure) with liberal social and conservative crime and financial views.

And I would vote Homer because he's the candidate most like me.

Mmm. Bacon.

I voted Republican, and from the discussions I've had with fellow board members, I might be the only one in my age group voting to re-elect Bush  Yep, that's right...
