That is amazing. A Subaru in it's full war paint. When you drive around, wear your local colors: orange clay, black dirt, grey gravel dust. It is so right that I think they should come from the factory that way. The same way Levis makes jeans "pre-faded", Subarus should come "pre-mudded"
Good pic, it complements all the pics of "prettied up" Legacies we've been seeing. There's definitely two right ways to do up your Subaru: aftermarket body kits or aftermarket mud.
That was the result of spending several hours trying to remove it from the parking lot of a hippie fest after a couple days of heavy rain (and heavy drinking). Very few people made it out. Just about everyone else had to be towed across, well, basically a pond with a large tractor. It was really ugly. The Sube barely made it out, but it did so on it's own power. I knew it could, of course. I did manage to bank it off a Jeep Cherokee and dent my rear quarter a little in the process, but you know, that adds character I wish I had a picture of the State Trooper's face as I pulled onto the street in that thing.
Hey Josh, I just ran across this while looking at my old threads. I didn't realize that you posted one of the snow pictures. Nice.
Those tires are Nokians. They are absolutely incredrible in the snow (hell, they'll practically stick to ice) as well as a great handling tire year round. Since it's that time of year again, I'll find out the tire specifics if anyone's interested. I highly recommend them.
