jdm tmic question

Post by TDGKORN »

I found a jdm tmic from a twin turbo legacy, but it doesn't come with the pipe that bolt to the bottom.
Does anyone know if the current wrx ones bolt up?
I know custom one could be made, but if I came bolt up the wrx ones that might save me some headache.

i'm pretty sure they'll fit. we have both intercoolers and from putting the pipes right next to each other they look exactly the same except for the twin turbo ones dont connect together by a plastic pipe, each one goes to a turbo.

I'm not sure about the inlet pipes, but from what I've heard, the twin turbo i/c is pretty much the same size as a regular USDM WRX i/c. I don't know of any benefit to getting the legacy unit, except that it's black. If the price is the same or less than a WRX i/c, and there are no other issues, then go for it.

The main thing about it is price, but I also like the black alot better.
