hmm
Since I missed the earlier run of this thread, I thought I'd bring it back to life.
I'm Tom. I studied German for a couple of years (it was the chicks), ran out of classes I could take, accepted a degree and now work with stable isotopes and mass spectrometry - sometimes I even spell it right.
I have a 91 Legacy that's rarely driven. Not that it's a bad car, I just don't drive much. I have photos of my cars taken over by vegetation in my parking lot. My favorite, a 72 VW with a Porsche engine, was driven less than 200 miles over 2 years - it did run during this time.
The Legacy is quick, but I have to admit that the fastest car I've had was an '80 Accord with a 3-barrel carburetor. (I rebuilt the head). I have hopes for the Legacy though thanks to you guys.

I'm tristan. I'm also slow to this thread. instead of working, (sound mortgage, inc. Federal Way, WA) i browse this forum all day long. Now you're all pissed cause i put this thread back into the searchable by date, just cause i added to it. I like my legacy, so much that i trash it everyday, i really drive it hard. I'm currently throwing on some WRX 16s and new struts, so i guess that's the extent of my mods.. my car has no moldings. end.

Welcome Tristan, Troy and Eric (belatedly perhaps). My name is Scott. I'll be doing some mods soon so maybe I'll be able to parlay with you at some point. Welcome to the club! Most everyone here is helpful, patient and experienced. Everyone is intelligent and some are very smart. They'll help out in many ways, assuming you'll need it. I know they've helped me.

I know. I've experienced firsthand some of vikash's (vrg3) extensive subaru knowledge, so i'm not really new here, regardless of post count... i guess i'm just tired of seeing "just arrived" on my title, so decided to stop whoring knowledge and actively participate and build some friendships/alliances... but thank you, scott. related to padishar/padiwan creel? don't know why i know those names... they just came up when i saw your handle...

Im Konrad.
For those who dont know, my subaru is retired.. let it rest in peice.
Even thought its gone and been replaced with a FREE nissan altima.. it was free and low milage so no one can argue with that.
I still do want another subaru. I work for Jetblue Airways which will hopefully takeover the airline industires of the US and my stock will soar and i will get tons and tons of profit sharing money
:)
Im in school for aviation maintenance and when i get out and make some real money ill hopefully buy a WRX Sti or new Legacy Turbo.. whatever is out then that catches my eye.
This forum has grown on me so Ill stick around, i finally started snooping around the ashtray and ill be on IRC soon.
I used to be an IRC junked when i dormed i had quite the empire of pc shit , mp3s movies.. but those were the old days when i had nothing else to worry about
I still have and am collecting my ever growing collection of mp3s over 15000 to date
