Ok, the Valeo clutch doesnt cut it at the drag strip with a 75 hp shot of nitrous. Add on the supercharger which is going it now and it really wont be able to handle the power.
So, which clutch do you all suggest.
This is for a NA 90 legacy.
Money to spend is $350-$450.
Thanks.
Which clutch do you suggest for 230 hp at the crank?

a turbo style pull clutch with matching tranny. Cause after a while it wont be the clutch taht doesnt cut it.

Will the pull style work in the NA tranny? If not, what will. NA trannies are adime a dozen (ok, a little more than that) and I dont mind replacing a few until I find a turbo tranny.

Hard to find a decent clutch that's not for a pull setup.
I like my Exedy setup, but it's for a WRX.

Wait... there are lots of clutches made for RS-T applications and the like, aren't there?
I know Exedy makes uprated NA clutches.
When NASIOC comes back online you could try searching some there.

Go stage 2. Very streetable, but great for the amount of slipping that we AWD folks have to do. As the kevlar gets hotter, it gets stickier.
Was driving a normal clutch the other day and don't know how people put up with that organic smell everytime it slips for like two rotations... ughh!
oh and these guys have awesome customer support and service.

I don't have any issues with my Exedy Stage 1. No nasty smells or anything.
Next clutch is a Twin-Plate Exedy unit.

To go pull style you need the proper tranny. Expensive in comparison to a custom clutch setup. I ran a bully in my STi swap and had very good luck with it. I've got a bully in my Mazda 323GT-R swap and it's holding very well.
The thing I like about Bully is that they actually make the clutch for you - it's not just a company reboxing and putting their logo on a clutch. Plus I can drive there in about 10 minutes (less depending how much boost).
