To anyone living in Canada:

What's the best place to live there? Is it easy for a non-citizen to set up a place to live and get a job?

Depends what you are used to and what you are looking for.

Canada ranges from horrid urban centres like Toronto, to peaceful -nobody in 300 miles- NWT

You would likely need a working visa, similar to the US, otherwise we are quite friendly.

What do you mean by 'used to'? If you mean urban or rural I would just say somewhere in between.

LMAO- ok- so who/what are you running from?

JUST KIDDING!!

Yup- Before you go- you would need a visa to allow living/working in Canada.

Taxes and costs are higher than normal in the US.
I live on the border, so I know first hand.

Gas is about 3.85 a gallon, and there is 14% GST tax and other taxes on certain items.

Canada is a nice place, but I still love the US

NOW, if we were talking about moving to Australia- then count me in!

:D

I say we all go for a month come January, soak up the sun, the women, and hit all the junkyards and take anything from their Liberty's that we can find!

I think RSSTI could work on that for us!

In fact, I am surprised he does not see what he can get for some of us. Like some fogs for the holes, and other stuff.

The fogs wouldnt work without the bumper beam and wouldn't that make the car not safe from DOT standards?
