Civil service exam

I am scheduled to take a civil service exam in the information technology discipline. I have been rethinking my career choices lately and since I've always had an aptitude when it comes to computers, I'm looking in that direction. Anyways, I'm scheduled to take this exam and I was wondering if anyone has taken a state civil service exam in this area and what info they might have to offer. Also, if anyone does know about this, I'd also like a good idea of what to expect on the test. Thanks in advance.
