I FINALLY found out why I was throwing code 22, the wire leading to the white connectors from the main batch of wires to the knock sensor, is SMASHED in between where the tranny mounts to the engine . I blame AAMCO. Sooo I think I could cut the wire and bypass it, or see if AAMCO could take it out when I take it in for their 500 mile check. It is most likley that the wire is touching the block and inhibiting it and causing the computer to think that there is no Knock Sensor. Not to mention the wire looks like it was repaird long ago, cracking electrical tape.
One problem down. next up, figure out why my IC setup feels like its leaking untill it gets warm .

the wire is actually a metal shielded wire....or at least the wire that is connected directly to the knock sensor. I'm not sure if the one after the connector is like that as well.

Yes it is.

Well Code 22 is back
I wouldn't mind the CEL if it were not for the EXTREME lack of power, I have to drive like an old lady everywhere, it sucks. I thought I had it for a while using a normal wire, then a few weeks later the CEL pops on again. I think im just gonna give up and take it somewhere and be like "fix this jerks".
