What do you all think of this intercooler? It is off an 85 saab turbo. I'm wondering if it will fit as a TMIC. Please let me know what you think.

Yes, it will work with some modification. A couple guys on this board have tried using these intercoolers, I believe. If not, I know a buncha guys with turbo RSs using them.

Yes, it definitely will work, I have it on my car right now, and I've run over 22psi through it
You may need to trim about a eighth inch off the part going into the TB, and you'll need to make a turbo/ic and ic/tb hose. A 2" to 3" rubber adapter will work for the ic/tb side if you trim it a little, and the other side isn't too tough either. Also you'll need to move the little box thing that mounts to the firewall across form the TB, you'll see it when you take the intake apart, other than that it fits right in.

Boostjunkie: It went well i left a list of my day in the B-day blues post check it out.

I was looking at the inntercooler and the only problem i see it the size diffrence from the outlet of the intercooler and the Throttle Body. But as 91White T said i'm sure it wouldn't be too much trouble. Also, What would be the best way to setup the BOV? or. Would it be better to just get an Atmospheric Blow off valve?

I got away with only doing that. I trimmed off a little more to make the change in width less sudden.

see the my post in theis forum for the rest of how I did it.
