its pretty much a bolt on, its the intake that will need modification, and oil and water lines...

If you don't have an intercooler it would be best to do the turbo and IC at the same time. Plus what would you do with a VF34 and no IC? If you go with a Subaru IC (early WRX or Air to Water) the turbo to TB pipes would bolt right up. If you go with a front mount for a WRX it would work with a little modification.

You need to get a 90 deg inlet for the turbo made.

Oil and water lines fit different. Oil at least. It's bolt in for a WRX right? If so the oil and water lines from a WRX might work??? That needs to be looked into.

The VF34 should bolt to the up pipe and down pipe fine.

rsstiboy might be able to help source these things because there are plenty of guys doing the swap over there.

The coolant line that comes from the coolant fill tank is different on the WRX because the WRX's coolant tank is over by the PS pump.

if you guys want any turbo's like these I can get them fairly cheap and can send them over, they are selling over here for $1100au with gaskets etc.... could be shipped over there, but there may be somebody on nasoic that can get them direct to US from japan, that way would work out cheaper for you guys, wait to see what happens over the next 6 months with the US-Australia free trade agreement.

I see used VF34's on nabisco all the time. They usually go for about $400.

any VF-34 turbo will bolt right up to the stock up-pipe and exhaust flanges, like a 16g? That is good to know. How do these turbos compare to the 16g, and how do they compare to the stock turbo/t-bird hybrid turbo?

Also, is this an RHB5 we're talking about...?
