Hardy was telling me about a drive near Sacramento that has 600 curves in 35 miles. INSANE!! Also, no cities during the drive. It is only curvy roads. Down one mountian side into ta valley and up the other side.

You just got to come visit Sac some time Josh. We have plenty of GREAT roads and rides all within a couple hours tops. Pretty much all directions as well.

Although, if your from Western Washington there is plenty of good stuff up there as well.

2 miles over the speed limit. I'm not worried about that. I'd either try for traffic school or take it to court and I think I could probably get out of it. You're right, though, that it doesn't make you feel that safe driving the road knowing that there is a guy just WAITING to nail you.

I love these roads. I went down this one today, it was actually some big loop, here's where i went: http://www.pashnit.com/maps3/Loop-CedarRavine.gif 77miles! I got kinda lost and skipped newton road (which actually looked kinda interesting) and went back up cedar ravine, which when going briskly is extremely fun!. I did however go down one of the sweetest roads, called Union Mine Road. It's basically a 1 lane 7 mile road (it does split into two actual lanes for a bit though). That sounds dangerous, but I only saw about 6 cars or so, and this was including my going down the road twice. Once of the cars I almost hit going through a VERY blind hairpin.

Here's a pic of one the two hairpins that are right next to each other (not the one where I almost hit the other car):


you can see it but the other hairpin is just down the road on the right. It's literally an S turn VEry awesome road, ryan, brian, anyone else local, we've gotta go down this!
