Pulley on eBay - Bomz Racing Lightweight Underdrive Pulley

Post by mgjs1 »

Can anyone give a recommendation on this pulley... Bomz is the brand. I have some squeaking belts that are old and need replacing anyway, so I thought I would lighten the load a little...

Any advice on the belts I'd need to get if I decide to go ahead with it? How much should this add (if any) to the cost of a belt replacement at my local garage?

Thanks for any and all help.

DONT BUY IT!

Look at your stock pulley. See how sharp your grooves are? Now look at the Ebay pulley. The are totally flat. I had to stick the pulley I bought into my lathe remill the pulley so it fit the belt.

I am selling mine, plus the belt. $55 includes shipping. But I did not turn the AC part to accept the belt. If I have to do that I want another $10. Hey, still worth it!

By the way, it does make a difference.

I got rid of mine since I had to go to a huge crank pulley for the supercharger.
