It has been too long since I last brought up the idea of a bay area meet, so here it is again :D

However, I as discussing with Laurel and brought up the idea of a west coast meet :) We said oregon was a decent place. I know that's kinda far for all of us (cept oregon people), but it's fairly central. Now if we do go through with west coast/oregon, it'd have to be like the 3rd weekend of october. Should give most of us time to start saving money for gas and food and whatnot.

Now, we could stick to bay area and set it up a little sooner, since it's not that much gas and food shouldnt be as big of a deal. Like late september early october.

If we do oregon i'd definately like to stay at least a day up there, maybe get a hotel or something (dunno just throwing that out there). I'd also like to at least have the meet, a drive, go out to eat, and some other activity, like karting or something fun. If we do bay area we could probably meet up early maybe picnic or BBQ or something, and go for a drive, then get dinner if you guys feel like it.

So what do you think, Please respond even if you dont want to go (and you're in the area) just so I know how it's looking. Even if you vote, please post your feelings on it.

Personally, i can't afford to make it all the way up to oregon. A west coast meet sounds like more of a thing for larger groups (cuz 10% of the wrx enthusiasts is a lot more than 10% of the leg enthusiasts) that have more money.

I voted for Oregon, being that I'm from there and all. Plus all my family is there. I'll be out there next year sometime so maybe I'll get to meet some of you N.W. guys. :D

Whoever is actually going to the Hood River Subaru meet at least should hook up there. And yes I know there is a poll thing for that. Just reiterating.

There's already a huge Subaru meet in Oregon this weekend for locals who might not know. (http://wcss.usmb.net)

A bay area meet would be great, but I wont be able to make it to any meet in Oregon for a while. Im planning on being a the WCSS6 in Oregon this weekend tho.

I gotta go out to oregon sometime in october, it doesnt really matter when. It would be nice to meet up with you guys. I have often wondered what it would be like to see a dozen 1gen leggys traveling in a pack 8-)

It does sound like two meets could work out better.

So for a bay area meet, how does the 18th or 19th sound for you guys? Too soon? Not soon enough? Anyone have suggestions on where to go? I'm thinking meet up around 10ish, kick it for about an hour or two, hit a ocuple roads, come back someplace and eat some good food. Then head out. Sound good? Do more stuff? Do less stuff? BBQ before we go driving? No BBQ?

Now for oregon, How is the 23rd/24th? Too soon or too late? Just one day or two? BBQ or no? What else should we do? Karting? Golfing? Pool? Bowling? Anything or nothing? Just throwing out ideas here :)

I'm in for a bay area meet. The 19th is a good day too. Anyone else into this? Not sure where we could meet that would be cool. Maybe some Scandia somewhere. We could play some putt putt and drive the go kart thingies :D
