I measured the voltage drop today, with just the car on (not running). I got 10.5 with the positive on the battery and 10.9 with the negative on the battery.

omegax - Those 12-gauge rubbery cap ones work okay if you use 'em right... Smearing dielectric grease both into the connector before inserting the fuse and under the cap before attaching the cap will help keep moisture out.
