Dood. . . you're a 100% moderator, now? :D

(Maybe I just haven't been paying attention this whole time. . . in which case, I'm a LC n00b still.)

Hey Josh / Dave,

If you still need someone to work on those archives, I'd be happy to lend a hand. Maybe not quasi-mod-o status, but I could d/l, edit and then forward to someone for reintegration into the database.

yeah the archives could use a little more attention, but it's just so tedious a job to go through and edit reply lines out of posts and trim everything down.

There's really not a way to d/l just that info from the archives and modify it and re upload without a lot of trouble. That's basically what I did a while back when the board was shut down for the weekend. I basically manually extracted everything from the new board and old list into an access database, and had to tweak everything to work together.

If you still want some help Josh, lemme know. I'm unemployed right now, so I'm spending alot of time on or around my computer anyways. But its mostly just surfing the Internet, so something like this would actually be productive! :)
