Day Time Running Lights

need some help, about 2 weeks ago my altenator went, after getting a rebuild one (never again) that one went. so a new altenator seemed to fix the problem along with a battery, funny how those 2 go hand & hand :x . now to get to the point, I noticed my DRL are not working anymore i think after all the battery charging and swaping i did i blew somthing just don't know what. the low beams and high beams still work so if anyone has any suggestions it would be great.

Since when do the BC/BF have daytime running lights?

I have never seen a BC/BF with DRL...

Canada? I know they have DRLs mandated, but don't know what year that came into effect.

yep, they've been standard since at least 1990.

There is a relay in the passenger kick panel, as well as some other circuits scattered around the rest of the car.

Check your parking brake, as well as your gear shift - both are realted to the DRL's

Manual or auto?
08 GE - SWP
96 BG - SGP
96 CX - EBP

its an auto, I think i'll have a look at that relay in the kick panel - here's hoping its an easy fix. is there any info on exactly what relay i'm looking for?

I'm pretty sure you're right, but interestingly enough my 1990 honda accord that was purchased in alberta didn't have them :?:

well you'll never belive this! My wife smashed in the drivers side front fender a little and the DRL came back on. weird!
