How do you remove the side marker lights?

Headlights to tailights and everything in between.

How do you remove the side marker lights?

Post by snowboarded »

I want to black out the side marker lights just to make it look a little better. I just oersonaly think it will look better. They look like you can just pop it out with a screw driver but I don't know for sure. Anyone know whether you can just pop them out with a screw driver or do you have to remove something to get to the screws? Dont want to make the mistake of thinking that they are pop outs when they're not.

If you're talking about the ones down by the doors, they just pop out. Use a screwdriver to push forward and out on the rear edge.

Speaking of those, I really need to get my passenger one working and then wire them to the turn signals.... Hrm...

I painted them while on the car. Just masked them off and used "night shades" on them.

They look pretty nice. Roughed them up a bit with some fine grit sand paper, and it was a good mod.

I think it looks a lot cleaner, and you can still see the light through them.

Wow, that looks great. I never thought of blacking out the chrome trim also. Is there anybody else that you know of that has that color, besides you and me?

Nope. Just you and I. I know Steve has seen a 94 in this color too.

Vikash thinks it was only a special-edition color for 94. He said he saw an Alpine wagon (or something) in that color.

And thank's for the compliment. Hard to believe that innocent little lady is a fire breather :)

I know what you mean.
I love the look on my freinds faces (a lot of them smirk when they see her) when they get in and go for a ride.
