I've decided not to pursue the repair work on my black '91 turbo sedan, this time I'm sure. Right now I simply can't afford it. I took it off my insurance and have no plans to fix it. There's simply too much that needs done to it to get it into a condition I'm happy with and I don't have the funds at the moment to sink into it. It's been weighing heavy on my mind for a couple months now and I feel a great relief that I've finally come around to making a decision. I'm still a little sad about it but right now I need a reliable vehicle that doesn't have a host of issues and my old faithful NA fits the bill just fine. I know I've been going back and forth but my mind is made up.

I'm not going to get rid of it right away but I may part it out in the future. I've cashed the check the insurance company gave me and that means it's like I never spent the money. What a relief.

Are you talking about a common friend?

Yes. Matt could likely make good use of the long block.

And I could make use of the LSD :). But I'm poor :(

I'm going to wait a little while before parting it out. I just basically won't be driving it or repairing it. Once I decide what I'm going to do with the parts I'll let you know. There's a chance I might use it as a parts car for my NA. I'll definetly be taking the rear spoiler and wheels. As far as the engine goes I don't know. It might be wise to hold on to it in case I wind up transplanting the block and systems into the L at some point. If that happens I'd probably get rid of the LSD.

I'm glad you're at least going to hang on to the car and not make any rash decisions on what to do with it. One never knows what the future will bring, and you might find yourself in a position to make good use of Magen.

Yeah, I had to move on it but I didn't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater, so to speak. It was constantly chewing at the edge of my mind. I had a chance to write my feelings out to a friend and it helped enormously in moving my mind on the matter  . Heh, being a Taurus is a bitch sometimes. I just have to remind myself that some days you get the bull and some days the bull gets you. I get stuck sometimes when it comes to things I care about. If I had the change that car would be cherry but, alas, I do not and I had to come to grips with that. Anyway, we'll see what the future brings. Hopefully, it will bring a decent job.

Actually, I can see into the future but it's spotty at best. :)

As much as i don't believe in Astrology, i'm a damned fine example of a Taurus. Writing down my Tauran feelings does help, so i'm with you there.

The Wagon was to me what your Sedan is. I had to move on to my new project and let someone else take over.

At least you'll still be in a Legacy.
