Sweet rims, I got the toyo T1-S tires on my 17's and they stick like glue on corners, its a huge change over the stock rims. When i drive in the canyon i can get about 90 on some of the 45 mph corners when there is no traffic, no peep from the tires.
You have 17's on the Turbo? What size, and what size T1-S?
How do you like them? How do they wear? Are they worth the 150+ price? Water traction? How are they in the Gravel? Durability (flat-proofness)? I wanna know EVERYTHING about them, if you can.
My buddy is sponsored by several tire places, and he's been pitching the Proxes 4's to me as an all-season, an Azenis for a good Summer ONLY tire (those over the Parada 2's). He thinks the Proxes would be pretty good in the gravel and dirt. I enjoy slippety sliding through the dirt and gravel on occasion.
I am almost considering the Proxes 4's, to keep myself out of trouble.
I have prodrive P7's 17x7.5. The T1-S has great water traction, it was raining today and i was trying them out. Don't know about gravel, Durability, they seem like pretty soft tires. I dont think the T1-S would handle well in the snow as the tread pattern wouldn't sheer as much snow as an all season. I'll look up the tire size when i go outside in the morning. They are the best handling tire I have ever owned in rain and dry weather at least, definately the most expensive too. They look sweet too
The lip on the inside of the fender was somehow bent down and was taking slices out of the tire when i hit big bumps at high speeds but a hammer fixed that. In normal everyday driving, like on the interstate or highway or in town, they dont rub. The only place i've noticed mine rub was my uncle's washed out dirt driveway in the mountains. Lost a tire from my other set of rims going up there the other day when a rock went through the sidewall:(
