fitting a dump valve help please

hi guys my mate has just got a 1992 legacy turbo and we want to fit a dump valve we have a bailey piston dump valve but if we put it in the place of the recirculating dump valve but i stays open and doesnt tick over right it cuts out sometimes :cry: :cry: please help guys

Do a search on blowoff valves or BOVs on this board to find other discussions about them... I think the general recommendation would be to stick with the factory one.

DUMP VALVE

hi guys i think i have it sorted i have been told that you fit a double piston d/v where the recirculating one goes and it works by the outer piston staying shut while the inner piston is open so it doesnt leak any air apart from when it dumps cheers guys :D :D
