Intercooler Idiot Light on cluster?

Post by LegacyT »

On Legacy RS and GT turbos they had an Intercooler light, just like a check engine light or battery, oil etc. Anybody know what this light was for? When would it illuminate?

humm interesting. I'd love to know if this exsists. It would be pretty trick to have that light come on when you had an over temp inlet air temp or something. I want to monitor so many things in my car I'm going to have to put in a Siemens HMI with a cool touch panel.

I think that was only on the early (89-90) models. The light would come on if the intercooler fluid level was low. They got rid of the level sensor later on. I think.
