The VW's reliablility was killing me. It just didn't make a good daily driver. I don't mind fixing stuff, but when you fix stuff then two weeks later it breaks again it gets on my nerves. Plus alot of the stuff that broke was body mechanical (handles and stuff) and electrical--which I hate to work on. Plus the very costly tranny blew up on me. I spent over 4k just in parts in two years.
I barely even notice the straight line performance difference. The subby puts me back in the seat, I'm happy.
The subby is sprung softer, but the IRS and AWD more than make up for it. I think the ultimate grip on the Corrado was more but the Legacy transitions alot better. Even though I put a LSD in the Corrado, it couldn't match the soob's ability to hold the pavent on wet roads, which we have a lot of.
The Corrado got way too much attention dorky doods on the streets. I've noticed alot more ladies checking out my car. Totally under the radar for Cops.
I felt like I had to baby the Corrado for some reason. I never took it over the passes. I haven't been snowboarding since I got the Corrado.
Thank you for the compliments
