Anyone every tried a Frantz oil filter?

Just curious if they really work, or not worth the money? At least with a Frantz, there will always be a roll of toilet paper around...

There is no way in hell one of those would find it's way onto my car. A filter that uses a combination of bypass and 1/16 restrictor to filter the oil? You want all of your oil filtered, not just a little bit.

I use Canton-Mecca racing replacable core filters, IMHO the best you can get.

From what I have heard, the Frantz style filters are supposed to be worth the money, and will filter down to like 1 or 2 microns, but the right type of toilet paper needs to be used, or there will be too much loose lint floating around inside the engine
