well, washed, buffed, waxed the car today. looks okay but the hoods fubared. i got a video too as soon as hardy hosts it for me

the grill is in the process of being painted black

Looks good! Jake, did I read somewhere that this car originally started out as a Standard? Is it still FWD?

1) Congrats on making an SS out of the lightest platform possible

2) Do you still have the original trunklid without the plastic trim on the back that matches the taillights? If so, I know someone who might be interested in it if you want to sell it.

hardy has first dibs on the trunklid... but the turbo hood w/o a hoodscoop will be for sale as soon as i chop up my other hood for my wrx hoodscoop.

car is awd, its just like a turbo w/o the sunroof. i converted to power windows and everything.

we fixed the hood a little today, it fits flush and doesnt move or anything, looks a little better. The grill was painted flat black and the guts were cut out of it, it looks pretty good. The movie probably could have been uploaded through the galler but i dont know how

new pics of the grill and hood will be up tonight hopefully

no guts...

the better fitting hood (gap is due to the hood being popped)

Now i never said anything about front seats.....

we're working on the emblem right now (changing the background color) so well see how that goes, and the mesh i just dont have any at the moment.

Nice wheels, too, but we've been over that.. makes me really want a set of those, looks like i'll be calling some yards..
Good work, man.. let me know if you still need more parts.. I've got a whole intake manifold and some GR2s waiting to go... upgrade, huh, huh?
I'll have to come out to the shop sometime this week, just for kicks...

haha, the seats are out of our wrx project car which sadly had to go back

but then i got lucky and found a customer of ours with a backseat they wanted to get rid of

the wheels i got for free basically (dad bought them and i traded him a fwd transmission for them) no other upgrades after that for a while though unless their free like the wrx susupension i scored off of our project car

.... stupid deals all pop up at the same time.. and i have no more money

stop by anytime, but i wont be there till after 2:00

P.S. stay tuned to my next threads because hopefully my fmic will be here within the next 2 weeks

and when i finally get some positive cash flow its going in, which probably wont be for a few months.

Rock on.. yeah, i'm not off work until 1 anyway.. and to get out to span that quick is.. well, difficult if i drive "right".. good work, though, nice vid, too.. Can't wait to see the FMIC.
