hey ive had a 92 legacy gt wagon AWD running a 4eat had another ej20t motor and turbo put in as i overheated the previous motor and the turbo was stuffed. When i finally got it running i was accelerating hard and sumthing broke it sounded like somone threw a spanner into the trans, i immediatley stopped and had it towed home. Its been sitting idle for about 8 months as i was short of cash this was the first subby ive driven and i absolulely love the ride.
I believe it could be the clutchplate that broke as some mates have said, however i would like to rebuild the 4eat ive been quoted about 1800$ dang!!is it worth it i would love to get my baby back on the road.Help please as im a beginner that needs a little direction. Im pulling out the tranny on Saturday first timer a little direction would be appreciated.

If you put two nuts on the stud, and cinch them up tightly against each other, you can use the lower one to turn the stud and extract it.
This is correct..but becareful not to back the nut against the bell housing. The nut could dig into the aluminum and prevent you from turning ths stud.
92 Turbo Legacy 4EAT
02 WRX - lightly modded (Gone but not forgotten)
my mate ended up not turning up till late pulled out intercooler and undid most of the nutz exhaust system is pulled out ready to start undoing nuts around tranz. I need to pull out rear driveshaft there is a cross member in the way do i have to pull out cross member to get at it easier, i think it supports trans if so should i put jack under to support then undo.
