Please don’t take offense, you sound like you need help, so I thought this might get you some more feedback (although, I am at a loss. You should definitely fix your timing however, that’s easy and there are a few posts about it.). I hope I wasn’t too presumptuous:

I’ve done the axels all around, hollowed out down pipe, cut out rear cat, disconnected the a/c, installed new NGK platinum plugs with the tiny electrodes, and replaced the brakes.
This poor old girl was losing power for a while, now all of a sudden, I can’t get 2000rpms; they drop at WOT until it stalls. It misfires and will only do 40k by feathering the gas. I had an under seat boot problem with the fuel pump, but then it howled, so I put fuel lube treatment in. There is less noise now, and the flow is 140. I have 1 cog off in the timing and I think the oil may be getting some fuel in it, I smelt it last oil change. Please help, Subaru is booked solid and I am a poor man with kids, so not only is this car my only toy it is also my family/work vehicle. I humbly ask your expert opinions. Thank you [/img]”

Thanks, fishbone79.
Jago:
You had a fuel pump problem but resolved it with a fuel additive?
You might still need to replace the fuel pump... Or check that its wires and connectors are good. There's one connector under the rear seat that sometimes goes bad.
Have you replaced the fuel filter under the hood? And checked the "sock" filter at the base of the pump?
Does the Check Engine light ever come on while you're driving? It does come on when you turn the ignition on but before you start the car, right?
If I'm understanding the symptoms right (and I'm not sure that I am), this could also be a big vacuum leak. Have you checked the whole intake tract to make sure it's all sealed?
What do you mean when you say the flow is 140?
What does "do 40k" mean?
Please try to write more understandably. At least put paragraph breaks in and try to write well-formed sentences. It makes it a lot easier to try to help you.

Definitely fix your timing - that could be the reason you have fuel in the oil. And change the oil after as that stuff's no good for bearings.

You definitely need a new mechanic. These are the easiest cars to work on and nothing like a Ford in any way whatsoever. I don't think it is the car that's stupid. Anyway, you can do a search on timing belt procedures. It's really pretty easy - you just have to count the teeth and line up the marks.
